MEET HUNTER

A professional surfer and filmmaker, Hunter Jones has spent his life chasing waves. This relentless pursuit of adventure has driven a successful career that lets him create, capture, and share deep blue thrills from around the world.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Hunter was only 10 years old when he stood up on a surfboard for the first time. He was instantly hooked, and it soon became his dream to completely immerse himself in the world of surfing. But his natural talent on the waves is rivaled only by his ability to get the perfect shot, proving he’s a master both in front of and behind the camera.

Hunter’s talents propelled him to a career that reaches every part of the surfing world. That includes being a surf stunt double, hosting a travel series for the World Surfing League, and competing on the professional circuit.

But his impressive career goes beyond the waves – he’s also a passionate advocate for helping others. He loves working with his local community, providing opportunities for the younger generation to experience the joy of surfing and all the amazing benefits that come with it.

When he's not traveling, riding waves, and recording adventures along the way, Hunter appreciates having a grounded lifestyle. That’s why you can find him golfing, skateboarding, or practicing his hair-cutting skills on his friends.

Through his lens, Hunter hopes to inspire others to chase whatever they’re most excited about. With his unyielding passion for surfing – and his dedication to inspiring the next generation – Hunter Jones embodies the spirit of a modern-day dreamer. We’re excited to watch him make waves both on and off the board.

“I heard a quote recently that said, ‘as surfers we spend our whole lives chasing seconds.’ A wave is so short, and it’s crazy because these swells travel thousands of miles until they reach the shore and break, and as surfers we spend our whole lives chasing the feeling of riding a wave. It only lasts for a moment, but that’s the thing I look forward to every day.”

“I’m so fortunate to have traveled to a lot of beautiful places around the world. I think that’s the cool thing about surfing: it takes you to places some people might never go and I feel really blessed to be in the position that I am.”

“I feel like I’m trying to recreate that feeling of what it was like to stand up on a wave for the first time. And as you progress, it’s harder to feel that. So it’s a really cool thing to look back and think how that moment changed my life. I’m still chasing that feeling.”
