MEET SPENCER

If it has two wheels, Spencer Rathkamp can rip it. The pro mountain biker grew up surrounded by the rugged Angeles National Forest. At 17, a photographer for Mountain Bike Action Magazine captured him at a favorite jump spot - and he's been climbing the local circuit ranks ever since.

What began as a hobby for Spencer has turned into an incredible career around bikes and the mountains, igniting his creativity both behind and in front of the camera.

Spencer's love for bikes stretches from mountain to road, gravel, and motocross. When he's not ripping around the street or on dirt, you can find him stunt-doubling for your favorite artists in music videos, or filming dirt sprays with his buddies on his favorite berm.

Along with being an all-around athelete, Spencer loves to empower individuals through the transformative power of biking. Whether he's crafting engaging content, partaking in community rides, or talking candidly about the impact cycling has had on his mental and physical well-being, Spencer embodies the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the freedom and joy that comes with riding a bike.

His love for the outdoors, bombing downhill on two wheels, and spending time with others shines through in his content and personality. Spencer practices what he preaches in encouraging others to do what makes them happiest every day.

"One of my favorite places to ever ride a mountain bike is the South Chilcotin Mountains, in British Columbia, Canada. We took a flat plane two and a half hours north of Vancouver and landed at a glacier-fed lake. We rode backcountry trails that were super technical with insane views. It was amazing."

"In general, I'm pretty active, so everything outside, hiking, surfing, wake boarding, riding dirt bikes, anything. I just enjoy being active and being outside."

"If I were to give anyone a piece of advice, I would just tell them to continue chasing what makes you happy and don't take anything but that for an answer. Keep chasing the things you wanna do."
