MEET COLE

Don't blink or you'll miss Cole Trotta. The 22 year-old lives for the thrill of racing skateboards downhill - and he does it all while speeding past some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

Hailing from San Clemente, Cole is a professional downhill skateboarder and content creator with a fearless passion for action sports. When he's not skating, you'll find him catching flights to exotic locales, searching for new roads to rip down, or cruising the California coast on his motorcycle.

My biggest goal is to have FREEDOM. In skateboarding, you can GET GOOD AT YOUR OWN PACE and skate whenever you want. I love having the freedom of being in an individual sport where THE ONLY COMPETITION IS YOURSELF, and I'm glad that skateboarding allows that.

Cole first developed a passion for skateboarding after watching a friend ride down a hill on a penny board. He was instantly hooked. Over the next few years, Cole turned his focus to improving his own skateboarding while also honing his filming and editing skills.

Now, at just 22 years old, Cole has almost 2 million followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Whether he's documenting epic longboard crashes, blazing through mountain tunnels, or being followed by a film crew in a helicopter, Cole's incredible risk taking has captivated fans as one of the most exciting athletes in the sport.

"The most memorable moment in my downhill skateboarding career is when I got my first real pro-medal board. I spent eight years dreaming about wanting to be a pro in the sport and have my own board that people could buy. So when I was offered the opportunity, it was one of those 'We Did It' moments."

“When I was four years old my dad put me into soccer. When I was about eleven, I also picked up skateboarding, and then I had a battle between skateboarding and soccer, which one I liked more. The turning point was my new coach wasn't playing me, so I actually quit mid-game and went to a slide jam. That's when I decided I was going to quit soccer and skateboard forever."

“I'm such a die-hard skateboarder that there isn't really much else people don't know about me. Something I am really into right now is self growth. I really want to grow my career, grow as a person, and grow stronger overall."
